The Pathway to Aesthetics Course is suitable for beauty professionals, experienced needling practitioners and registered healthcare professionals who meet the course entry requirements and are ready to progress into aesthetics.

Home-based theory is followed by two days of practical classroom training at Sammys Aesthetics Beauty & Training in Galgate, Lancaster. You will observe tutor demonstrations, practise treatments on live models and receive personalised guidance throughout.

The programme brings together essential skin and injectable treatments, helping you develop a broader treatment portfolio while maintaining a strong focus on client safety, responsible practice and professional development.

Aesthetic training lancaster

Home-Based Theory

Before attending the academy, you will complete the required theory at home. This allows you to develop your understanding of anatomy, treatment principles, client safety and professional responsibilities at your own pace.

Two-Day Practical Training

Practical training takes place over two days at our academy in Galgate, Lancaster. Your tutor will demonstrate each treatment before you complete supervised hands-on practice using live models.

Assessment and Certification

You will complete knowledge assessments and practical competency assessments throughout the programme. Certification is awarded after all required theory, practical training and assessments have been successfully completed.

Entry Requirements

To enrol on this foundational course, learners must meet one of the following criteria:

  • Hold a Level 3 qualification in Beauty Therapy

  • Hold a Level 3 Anatomy and Physiology qualification, supported by a minimum of six months’ needling experience (such as microneedling, microblading or SPMU)

  • Hold a Level 2 Beauty qualification, alongside Level 3 Anatomy and Physiology and at least three months’ needling experience

  • Have a minimum of twelve months’ practical needling experience (including microneedling, microblading or SPMU)

  • Be a registered medical professional (such as a nurse, dental nurse, GP or paramedic) with a current NHS PIN
